Passed away peacefully on May 7, 2014 in Fairfield, WA, a life-long resident of the Davenport, WA area. Edith was born on March 29, 1923 to Guy and Bertha Mounger 8 miles north of Davenport. Edith attended school and graduated from Davenport High School. She married her high school sweetheart Elmer “Bud” Reinbold on November 14, 1943. Edith lived at the end of Reinbold Road in Egypt for 49 years until they moved into Davenport. The last five years they have lived at the Davenport Retirement Village and the last two months in Fairfield Care Center. Edith is survived by her husband of 70 ½ yrs. Elmer “Bud” Reinbold, Two sons Dennis (Betty) Reinbold of Plummer, ID and Doug (Sue) Reinbold of the Egypt area along with three grandchildren Erin (Tim) Utley in the Egypt area, Kaarin (Derek) Appel in the Spokane area and Jacob Reinbold near Fairbanks, Alaska. She was proud to have four great grandchildren Riley and Ryan Utley and Tessa and Allison Appel. Edith has a sister Beulah Reinbold and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by an infant daughter Dorothy and three sisters Fern, Violet and Faye and two brothers Darius and her twin brother Edwin. Edith was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church and North Star Grange, and taught Sunday school for 12 yrs. She was proudly a homemaker and caregiver for her and Bud’s families. She enjoyed church, grange, fairs, parades, sewing, gardening, reading, singing and taking care of her grandchildren. Edith was happy and ready to put others needs before her own her entire life. Memorial service, Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church, 41697 N. State Rt. 25, Davenport, WA. Any memorials can be given to Christ Lutheran Church in Egypt.
