Polly Ann Lisnock, 68, of Washoe Valley Nevada was tragically taken from us on June 13th, 2014.
She was such a thoughtful, compassionate, loving and caring Wife, Mother, Grandmother, person and friend to everyone who knew or met her. Among her many hobbies, she was an avid reader and traveler who loved to sew and quilt. Her gentleness was reflected in the selfless way she lived her life every day and was expressed through her love for collecting teddy bears and decorating her home during the holidays, especially at Halloween and Christmastime.
She worked in the medical community of Northern Nevada, and the last 10 years at Sierra Surgery Hospital in Carson City. She will be missed by her many colleagues and friends there.
Polly was the daughter of Richard and Louise Nelson from Fullerton, CA. She graduated from Fullerton High School class of ’63.
She will be dearly missed by us and everyone who knew her, but never forgotten. Her love will remain for eternity in our hearts and her presence from above will help guide us all through this difficult time.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Lisnock; her children Jim, Andy, Mike and Debbie; her grandchildren Chase, Kevin, Kyle, Megan and William; and her brother and his wife, Torloff and Maggie Nelson, and their daughter Paige. She is also survived by Ronald and Marie Farrington and William and Constance Schwartz and her many nieces and nephews.
There will be a public Celebration of Life Service at FitzHenry’s Funeral Home, Carson City, NV on Friday, June 20th at 2pm.
