HAUGHTON, LA - Services for Quinton Odell Glasgow, 82, will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Bro. Monroe Mercer officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 p.m.until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Hill Crest Funeral Home.
Quinton was born on June 26, 1931 in Taylor, Arkansas and passed away in Bossier City Louisiana on June 22, 2014. He answered the call of duty for his country serving in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. After returning from Korea he went to work for the U.S. Postal service working as a letter carrier until retirement. He was a faithfully member of Green Acres Baptist Church, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be deeply missed by his family and all that knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claudia and Odessa Glasgow; his wife of 55 years, Nancy Verline Glasgow. He is survived by sons, Ricky Glasgow and Charles M. Glasgow and wife Tina; daughters, Donna L. Scarborough and husband Buddy and Mitze R. Puska and husband David; 11 grandchildren, Tara Morgan, Mellisa Shipp, Bo Puska, Blaine and Brandon Chapman, Melanie Brown, Megan Wade, Chance, Kaleigh, Kaden and Kaleb Glasgow; 11 great-grandchildren and a sister, Maurice Westphal.
