Campbell, Richard P., 77, of Holly Hill passed away at home on June 26, 2014. Richard was born in Duluth Minnesota son of Henry and Lois (Gotch) Campbell. He honorably served in the U.S. Army. A retired field engineer for Dictaphone, Richard has been a resident of Holly Hill for 20 years. He was a proud and active member of the Clan Campbell Society serving as Region 12 Deputy Commission and a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Richard enjoyed working for the City of Ormond Beach Department of Leisure Center and at the Performing Arts Center. He was a talented woodman and carved many beautiful clocks. He also was an avid ham radio operator for 60 years. Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Rick (Heather) Campbell of Seattle, WA and Ron (Cherie) Linsten of Mandeville, LA; brothers, Bruce (Mary) Campbell , John Campbell and Terry (Sandy) Schuman; sister, Jacqueline Cassetty and four grandchildren. His daughter Tonya Rae Campbell and brother James Campbell predeceased him. Friends may call 6-8 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday 11-12pm. at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home 548 N. Nova Rd Ormond Beach.
