PROSSER, Garnet, age 93, cherished wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away at home July 1, 2014, with her devoted, loving husband, Duane, by her side.Garnet was born to Charlie and Lottie Insko of Germantown, KY, on September 11, 1920. She moved to Dayton, Ohio soon after graduating from high school and was employed at NCR. She married her husband Duane on August 8, 1943. They resided in Centerville, Ohio and moved to Punta Gorda, Florida after Duane retired from GM. Garnet was a member of the IslesYacht Club in Punta Gorda. She enjoyed playing the piano, organ and of course dancing. Garnet is survived by her husband, Duane Prosser and three children: son, Barry (Linda) Prosser, of Centerville, Ohio; two daughters: Janet Coyle of Punta Gorda, and Cynthia (Jeff) Reichert, of Miamisburg, Ohio. She's survived by six Grandchildren: Jason (Jenniffer) Coyle , Tara (Bill) Campbell , Joe (Jamie) Walker , Ashley Reichert, Capt. Eric (Terrah) Prosser and Amberly Reichert. Also survived by eight Great-Grandchildren: Jacob and Jordan Coyle, Logan and Claire Campbell and Joe, Evan, Reese and Riley Walker; and 2 nephews, Mark and Mathew. A private service was held. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Tidewell Hospice of Port Charlotte, Florida, in memory of Garnet Prosser. Garnet will be sadly missed by her loving husband and children.
