She was born in Buenos Aries, Argentina, on February 22, 1927, the daughter of Josef Hersz and Fredla (Sirki) Baraz. She grew up in Argentina, attending area schools.
She married Abraham J. Frydlewski, in a ceremony in Argentina, on December 20, 1947. In mid 1960’s, the family immigrated to Israel and later, in 1968, to Keene, NH, where the family found work with International Narrow Fabrics. Mr. & Mrs. Frydlewski worked for International Narrow Fabrics until the company closed its Keene plant, and later, Mrs. Frydlewski worked for MPB, until her retirement.
Mrs. Frydlewski was a member of the Women’s Haddasa, an International Organization for Jewish Women. She was extremely proud of her heritage. She enjoyed teaching Spanish, and was very proficient with a needle, excelling at Needle Point, Crochet, Sewing and Knitting. She was a woman with a deep love of her friends and children, a big and welcoming smile, an encouraging laugh and warmth that was said to radiate to those around her.
She is survived by her daughter: Shoshana B. Frydlewski, of Framingham, MA; two Grandchildren: Sean Mandel and his wife Nicole, of New York City and Adi Mandel and his wife Allison of Tiverton, RI; and two Great Grandchildren: Abraham Jacob Mandel and Abigail Ofelia Mandel. She was predeceased by her husband, of nearly 59 years: Abraham J. Frydlewski, her daughter: Ofelia Mandel; and a brother: Aaron Baraz.
Services will be held at the Fletcher Funeral Home, on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at the Monadnock View Cemetery, in Keene, NH. Rabbi Amy Loewenthal will preside.
