Born in Fall River, a son of the late Frederick and the late Mary (Foley) Ralph, he had been a lifelong area resident, before moving to Somerset in 2016.
A Veteran of the United States Navy, he served with honor during World War II.
Mr. Ralph was a member of the Fall River Fire Department for 25 years, serving primarily at the Central Fire Station, before retiring in 1976 as Captain. He loved spending precious time with all his grandchildren, and enjoyed taking walks in the outdoors.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Donna Simbro and her husband Michael of Somerset, Debra Hubert and her husband Michael of Fall River; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Dayle Ralph Buckley and brother of the late Jeanne Bernardo.
His Funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 9:00 AM from the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover St., Fall River. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours Monday, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
