Twila graduated from Marlinton High School in 1949. She was a Christian and a member of Poca Fork Baptist Church. She was the WV Queen of TOPS (take off pounds sensibly) of 1968 and a member of Salina Chapter #81 of the Eastern Star.
Her husband of 68 years, Clyde Wolfingbarger and son, Herman L. Wolfingbarger, preceded her in death. Also preceded in death by her four brothers and five sisters, Twila was the last surviving child of Effie Bartlett Smallridge and Parley J. Smallridge.
Twila is survived by sons, Jim Wolfingbarger and daughter-in-law, Drema, of Malden and Dale Wolfingbarger and daughter-in-law, Debi, of Campbells Creek; daughter, Valerie Beckner and son-in-law, Joe, of Sissonville; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 16, 2017, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with Pastor David Lucas officiating. The burial will follow the service at Spring Hill Cemetery, Charleston.
A visitation for family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
