Born in Baden, PA. He was a son of the late Clara (Schmitt) Rittelmann and Louis J., Sr.
He was employed by Taylor Milk Co. as a milk man for over 35 years. Louis also delivered mail for the post office.
Louis served in the US Marine Corp. during WWII in the Pacific / Asiatic Theater on Guam, Iwo Jima and mainland Japan after the war.
He was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 610 Pine St. Bally, PA. 19503.
Louis was also a life member of the Baden American Legion and served in their Honor Guard.
He is survived by his daughter, Mary Lou wife of Douglas J. Oswald of Bechtelsville. Daughter in law, Mary M. Rittelmann of Baden, PA. Brother, David Rittelmann of Beaver Falls, PA. 5 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren also survive him. He is predeceased by his son, Louis “Jack” Rittelmann.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Most Blessed Sacrament RC Church at 12:00 Noon on Friday, November 17, 2017.
Friends and family may call on Friday from 10:15 to 11:15 AM at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc.
Interment will be in Most Blessed Sacrament Church Cemetery.
