Earl was a WWII US Navy veteran, having fought in the south Pacific against the Japanese war ships. He was an Orono police officer before retirement and was also employed many years at the University of Maine.
He will be remembered as a kind and gentle man by all who crossed paths with him. After the death of his wife, Irene (White) Jameson, he married Lurlene (Agrell) Daigle, whose husband had also passed. They have enjoyed most of almost 30 years together in love and companionship, before his passing.
He was born in Bradley on June 25th, 1927, the fifth child of eight siblings to Lester and Sarah(LeBlanc) Jameson, and also the last surviving child, predeceased by siblings, Beulah Young, Isaac, Marguerite Currier, Woodrow, Sylvia Gauthier, James and Richard. He is survived by two children, Cheryl LeVesque and her husband, Charles, of Milford, and Karl Jameson of Florida. A son, Earl Jameson, Jr. passed away this past summer. Earl was blessed to have five grandchildren, Christopher, Morgan, Joseph Jameson, Richard and Donald Levesque, three great-grandchildren, Joey, Nicholas, Brittany, and two great-great-grandchildren, Braden and Tilia.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at the Milford Cemetery. Arrangements by Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town. In memory, the family will appreciate any gesture of remembrance in his name to the Faith Baptist Church of Orono, PO Box 44, Orono, ME 04473 or the charity of one's choice.
