Brennen Julian Fairhead was born in Fresno, California on August 22, 1996. Brennen passed away in Fresno on Dec 14, 2017 at the age of 21.
Brennen is survived by his mother Gwen Lorraine Fairhead, his father Gary Joseph Fairhead, his sister Brittany Craig, his aunts Kerry Hanson, Jeana Fairhead Holso, his uncles Leigh Fairhead, Tim Hanson, and his cousins Andrew Prindeville, Jason Fairhead, Wesly Fairhead, Leah Fairhead, Brooke Fairhead, Laura Fairhead, Katrina Hanson, Hillary Hanson, Justin Hanson, Jeffrey Hanson, and Nicholas Hanson. Brennen was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Garould and Gladys Fairhead and Curt and Beverly Hanson.
Brennen was welcomed into the Fairhead family before he was born. He was truly a Gift from God and a treasure to his family and friends. Brennen had such a big heart for animals, especially for his loveable dog, Tucky. During our travels he always spotted all the wild life along the way, be it a deer, coyote, fox or smalls birds. But Brennen mostly had such a big heart for people. Brennen loved children and enjoyed spending time with them. He had a special fondness for those with special needs, especially those who have Down’s syndrome. He would make a point to look them in the eye to say hello and would offer his assistance.
Brennen cared for his family, accepting them for who they were and not for what they had. He never judged or became disillusioned with his family. He was fiercely loyal and protective of those he loved, both family and friends. In school he grew to love wrestling – he loved the 3-minute adrenaline rush of he alone fighting against the clock. He strived to be the best and competed in many tournaments throughout California and Nevada. He finished his wrestling achievements by competing and winning 3rd place at State in the Eighth grade.
Brennen so loved making things rather than buying things. He was extremely resourceful and creative. He had the will to come up with unique ways to accomplish whatever he needed. When he wanted to buy the next great skate board he would sell his games or Xbox. It didn’t stop there; he would gladly sell candy bars, clean homes or mow yards to earn money for him and his friend so they could go to Reno for a wrestling tournament or to buy the same great new skate board so they could skate together.
Schoolwork was a breeze when Brennen wanted to do it. Practical he was, thinking that college was too expensive and boring. Brennen just wanted to work and figure out how to make his own way.
Brennen’s first job was learning to install solar panels. He first learned to install them on homes. He then learned to prepare all the information on upcoming work sites so permits could be applied for and construction could begin. He also learned how to service customers and obtain building permits and meet with inspectors. Brennen was fortunate to have such good people around him who helped guide and encouraged him to do the best he could. Brennen was a teachable young man and loved to learn. Brennen’s commitment to his friends was complete and unwavering. He would help them in any way he could and was well-known for his loyalty and trust worthiness.
Brennen loved God. He had mentors and family who helped guide him in the Lord’s teachings. He never doubted God or his love for God. He frequently discussed the Bible and God’s ways and is with Him now for eternity. Brennen was deeply loved and is sorely missed.
