Cynthia Ann Dell’Omo – Thimou, of Kennesaw, GA, formerly from Union, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 29, 2017 with her family at her side. She was born on November 25, 1975 to her loving parents Marianne and Dominick Dell’Omo in Summit, New Jersey. Cynthia graduated with a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education. She then went on to teach literature at Ashford University. Cynthia was a member of the PTA at Pitner Elementary School and a Sunday school teacher at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. Additionally, Cynthia enjoyed Broadway musicals and had a great passion for spending time with her kids. She gathered community wherever she went and loved all people leaving a lasting impression on all that she touched. Cynthia was known for her caring, positive personality, always putting others before herself with her contagious smile. Cynthia will always be cherished and remembered as a loving wife, dedicated mother, a beautiful sister, and devoted aunt.
Cynthia Ann Dell’Omo – Thimou is survived by her husband, Theodore Thimou; son, Mason Dell’Omo- Thimou; daughter, Sierra Dell’Omo – Thimou; sister Lillian Dell’Omo-Hamilton; brother, James Dell’Omo; and nephews, Sean Hamilton, Nicholas Dell’Omo and Thomas Dell’Omo.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 10:00 AM. A service will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park.
