Kenneth, known as Ken to most, was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 7, 1929. Ken passed away at the age of 88 this past week.
Ken spent his professional career working as a software developer and manager for the General Motors Acceptance Corporation, most recently in New York City.
In his retirement, Ken enjoyed pursuing many interests. One he especially enjoyed was flying various forms of model aircraft. He was a member of several clubs in the area including the Old Time Eagles, HVRCC, RCRCC and the Metropolitan Sports Squadron. He also enjoyed playing pool and was a frequent visitor of the Mahwah Senior Center. Other interests included word carving and bird watching.
Ken was preceded in death by his wife Marlene and is survived by two sons, Michael of Warwick, New York and Ronald of Naperville, Illinois. Ken also has two grandchildren, Harrison of Warwick, New York and Sarah of San Francisco, California.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, 1/13/2018 at 2:00 to 4:00, with a Celebration of Ken’s Life being held at 3:00 at the following address:
