Texas. Ryan was born on July 12th, 1976 to, Ronald L. Stacey and Karen Nicklas Lewis in Reisterstown,
Maryland. Ryan was raised in West Chester, Pennsylvania by his mother and stepfather. Growing up, he
shared his childhood with his sister, Regan, and his stepbrother, Chris Lewis.
Ryan graduated in 1994 from Blue Ridge High School in St. George, Virginia. In 1995-1996, he attended
California State University at Northridge, California. Ryan received his Aviation Airframe and Powerplant
license in 2002 from North Valley Occupational Center in Van Nuys, California. With this license, he
worked as an aviation mechanic, primarily at Erickson Aircrane Heavy Lift in Medford, Oregon and most
recently at the Addison Airport.
Ryan enjoyed country music, motorcycles and airplanes. He liked to live in the moment and chose his
own path. Ryan marched to the beat of a different drum and his favorite saying was “Life is grand if you
don’t weaken.”
Ryan had two children, Kayla Stacey and Isabella Rose Stacey.
Ryan is survived by his father, Ronald L. Stacey and his wife R. Robin M. Stacey of Frisco, Texas; his
mother, Karen Lewis and her husband Lanny Lewis of West Chester, Pennsylvania; his children, Kayla
Stacey, and Isabella Rose; his sister, Regan Stacey Miller and her husband Jim Miller of Lyme,
Connecticut and their children, Jane Scheiber, Calvin Scheiber, and Harry Miller; his half-brother, Brett
M. Stacey and his wife Ashley Zengerle Stacey of Frisco, Texas and their son, Beau Michael Stacey; and
his half-sister, Katie Stacey Ruiz and her husband Giovanni Ruiz of Canyon Country, California and their
children, Audrey Ruiz and Catherine Ruiz.
