Hunter James Guerrero, 9 months, of Sweeny, Texas went to meet Jesus, great Nanny and grandpa Stine on February 18, 2018 surrounded by the voices of his mom and dad and the laughter of his five siblings. Hunter was born on May 3, 2017 in Galveston, Texas to Autumn Stine and John Michael Guerrero, Sr.
Hunter was loved, cherished, and adored by everyone who loved him and knew him. He was a happy baby with a beautiful smile. Hunter interacting with his siblings was always a sight to see. His big sister, Haleigh, would carry him on her hip and act like “Mommy” #2. With his big brother, Junior, he would steal the controllers and nibble on the cords; and would try to steal the X-Box remote from him. Sister Aaliyah, would sneak Hunter the good food to eat and act like “Mommy” #3. Hunter loved ice cream and never meet a food that he did not like. Riley, would get gnawed on the head and nose by her loving brother Hunter. Brother Trey and Hunter were the best of friends. Hunter’s best friend was his dad, John. They would wrestle and rough house on the floor, and Hunter would run around the house yelling “Dada!!”
Welcoming Hunter in heaven are maternal great-grandparents, David and June Stine; maternal great-grandfather, Eddie Petenbrink; and maternal grandfather, Kerry Stine.
Hunter will be smiling down on mother, Autumn Stine; father, John Michael Guerrero, Sr.; brother, Junior Guerrero; sisters, Haleigh, Aaliyah, and Riley Guerrero, and brother, Trey Guerrero; and numerous great-grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The family would like to thank Officer Stackhouse, of Sweeny Police Department and Darlene and Robert (Cajun Bob) Thornberry. The family would also like to thank Ashley and David Stine, friends, family, and loved ones for their prayers and gifts of kindness, and everyone else who has helped the family in their time of need and grief.
