Celebration of life services for Janis Bearman, 82, are set for 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Terry Smith and Robert Shapley officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Saturday 11am until service time.
She was a member of Foote Street Church of Christ, worked at Magnolia Regional Health Center from 1978 until her retirement in 1990. She loved her grandchildren, playing games, crossword puzzles,reading and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
She was preceded in by her husband, Leroy Charles “Pete” Bearman; parents, Lee and Dolly Avey; sisters, Charlotte Hardesty and Harriet Rouse.
She is survived by her sons, Chuck (Mary Ann) Bearman, Denny Bearman; daughter, Joan (Tim) Hardwick; sisters, Bethel Andrew and Betty Jones; Grandchildren, Andy (Britney) Bearman, Sara Beth (Mario) McGaha, Jimmy Bearman, LaSha Bearman, Amanda Bumpas, Zack Hardwick, Carter Bearman, Caleb Bearman; Great-grandchildren, Luke Bumpas, Ty McGaha, Taylor Bearman, Tobey Bearman, Harper Bearman; Special friends, Nancy Puckett, Melissa Little and Jenna Page.
Pallbearers will be Andy Bearman, Jimmy Bearman, Zack Hardwick, Carter Bearman, Caleb Bearman and Mario McGaha.
