The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on March 10, 2018 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Bellwood Memorial Park Cemetary at 12 PM. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, Temple, Texas.
E.J. was born in Cameron, Texas on December 9, 1924.
He worked as a Medical/EKG Technician at the VA Hospital, Temple, Texas for over 30 years. He enjoyed working in his yard, helping others, joining his friends at the Senior Community Center and joy of dancing.
E.J. is survived by his three children, Diane Baker & husband Fulton, John W Richey & wife Laura, Robin Aiken, grandchildren, Jeffrey Holloway & wife Julie, Tiffany Pitts & husband Tim, Ryan Aiken, Aaron Aiken, Madeleine Richey, John Jaxon Richey, Matt Baker & wife Lyn and Audra Baker, great grandsons, Prescott Holloway & wife Cheyenne and Blayne Kerico, and long time companion, Elizabeth McCorkle.
E.J is preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Margaret Richey as well as one brother and several sisters.
