She was born July 14, 1926 in Skowhegan, Maine, the daughter of Ledger L. and Delia (Lil) Violette King.
She attended Skowhegan schools and for many years was employed by the American Woolen Company in Skowhegan and woolen mills in Rochester, NH. She was also employed by Norrwock Shoe Company in Skowhegan prior to her retirement.
She was a communicant of the Notre Dame de Lourdes Church in Skowhegan, Maine.
She was predeceased by her parents and her grandson Danny Daigle.
Annette is survived by her daughter, Nancy D. Walker of Madison; and her two sons, Bruce Daigle and his wife Tracey of Zephyrhills, FL, Brian Daigle and his wife Barbara of Lebanon, ME; her brother, Norman King of Skowhegan, and one sister, Sandra K. Castle and her husband James of Naples, FL; three grandchildren, Tanya Welch, Jay Daigle and his wife Maureen and Wade Walker and his wife Kate of Athens; eleven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
At her request, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and C.N.A.’s at the Maplecrest Nursing Home for her excellent care and to lifelong friends, Vi Ferland, Lil Lovette and Priscilla Willette.
Arrangements are under the care of Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine.
