Arvis C. Sullins, 91, of Victoria, Texas, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018. Arvis was born in Leroy, Texas, to the late Oakley and Josephine Sullins on September 9, 1926. He was a WWII veteran and served in the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dora Sullins; daughter, Lora Gean Weitz; granddaughter, Roxianna Lee McCutchan; and sisters, Doris Kennedy and Helen Brock.
He is survived by his daughters, Betty Joann McCutchan and Alice Anise Wenske; brother, Jack Sullins. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be from 9 am to 10 am Monday, March 12, 2018, with the funeral service at 10 am at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jody Yoast, Miles Yoast, John Weitz, Tanner Weitz, Josh Yoast, Macey Mueller, Max Marshall, Andrew Cheatham, Clover Yoast, Daniel Wenske, Fred Marshall, Morgan Mueller, and Keith McCutchan. Honorary pallbearers will be Beatrice Yoast, Molly Yoast, and Kate Weitz. Graveside musicians will be Jack Yoast and Calvin McCutchan.
