Louise Gilbert Brim was born in Junction City, Georgia, on June 7, 1922, to Orman Daniel Gilbert and Alice Carden Gilbert. She grew up in Columbus, Georgia, and was a member of the first graduating class of Jordan Vocational High School. She married William Hardy Brim in 1941. They had two children, Daniel H. Brim (Nancy) of Cataula, Georgia, and Opal Priscilla Daniels (Billy Edwards) of Panama City, Florida. She had two grandchildren, Samantha Brim Simmons (Bruce) and Destin Brim Daniels. She also had one great-grandson William Bryce Simmons.
She enjoyed flowers and floral design and was active in garden clubs and was a Master Flower Show Judge. She was also an active member of Northside Christian Church.
She departed this earth for her heavenly home on March 7, 2018.
The celebration of her life will be held in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, GA. on Monday, March 12, 2018, at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
She loved flowers and they will be gladly accepted, or make a contribution to your favorite charity in her memory.
