Jeanette "Jet" H. Garrard

Jeanette “Jet” Hancock Garrard, 97, joined her Heavenly Father and her family on Friday, March 09, 2018. A memorial service and a celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday at Lizella United Methodist Church with the Rev. Josh Gale officiating. Burial will be private in Roberta Cemetery.

Mrs. Garrard was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence A. Garrard and her daughter, Regina G. Parks. She was a lifelong resident of Lizella and was a longtime member of Lizella United Methodist Church. Mrs. Garrard was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt.

Left to cherish her memory are her granddaughters, Caroline Parks (Scott) Wall and Rachel Parks (Robert) Parsons; her son-in-law, Bo Parks; her great grandchildren, Abigail Wall, Lillie Parsons, Parks Parsons and Pierce Parsons; nieces, Anna H. Redding, Carol M. (Bobby) Pope, Suzanne M. (John) Malloy; nephew, Dr. William G. (Beth) Grubb ; several great nieces and great nephews and a great-great nephew.
