Mary Chapman

Mrs. Mary Richardson Chapman, age 87, passed away at her home on Friday, March 9, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband, John H. Chapman, Jr., son, John Richard Chapman, parents, William and Gladys Richardson, brother, Vincent Richardson, sisters, Joan Hamilton and Dolores Lingo. Mrs. Chapman was employed for over 35 years at the concession stand at the Greyhound Park. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, loved gardening and for many years, volunteered at Augusta Evans School. Mrs. Chapman is survived by her daughters, Tanya Touart and her husband, Joe and Julie Wallace. She is also survived by her sister, Lillian Drinkard, grandchildren; Lisa Jarvis, John Robertson, Chad Robertson, Christopher Wallace, Michael Wallace, great-grandchildren; Drew Carter, Justin Wallace, Lily Ava Robertson, Chloe Robertson, Scarlett Robertson, Lilah Robertson, Emily Ann Wallace and a host of nieces, nephews and other family. She will also be greatly missed by her loving four legged companion Pumpkin. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Catholic Cemetery.
