Jeri Kay (Blythe) Bothwell of Olathe, Kansas died peacefully on Saturday, March 10, 2018. Jeri resided at Evergreen Community for the past four years. She was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma September 2017.
The daughter of John Kermit Blythe and Della Wray (Smith) Blythe, Jeri was born in Junction City, Kansas January 5, 1947. Due to premature birth at seven months, Jeri spent the first several weeks of her life in an incubator.
Jeri grew up on the family farm in Morris County, Kansas. She attended Parkerville Grade School then graduated from White City High School in 1965. Jeri attended Emporia State University before beginning a 40 year career at United Missouri Bank in Kansas City, Missouri.
She married Ronald Eugene Bothwell on April 2, 1977. Ronny preceded her in death January 30, 1998. Jeri is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Holly John and Mary Blythe; a sister and brother-in-law, Jana and Marc Elkins;
nephews and nieces, Kurt Blythe, Erin Harris (Al), Jeff Elkins (Sara) and Jeni
Elkins; great nephews and nieces, Kane, Roan, Blythe, and Teig Harris; and a stepson Sean Bothwell.
Jeri will be cremated according to her wishes. Memorial Service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 17th at Evergreen Community 11875 S. Sunset Dr. Olathe, KS. Memorial gifts may be made to: Evergreen Hospice Care or Evergreen Community of Johnson County.
