Sylvia S. Watt, 71, of Knoxville, TN passed away peacefully at her home in Karns after a long battle with Alzheimer's on March 23, 2018. She was born April 28, 1946 in Bradley County, TN to J.D. and Marjorie (Thompson) Kile. She married her high school sweetheart, Johnny Watt, in 1963 and they celebrated 39 years of marriage before his passing in 2002. She worked for many years as a cafeteria manager for Knox County schools, a job she was both proud of and excelled in. After leaving KCS, she began work for First Tennessee bank, quickly moving up to the head teller position before leaving to work from home in order to help take care of her husband and ailing father. For nearly 20 years, she worked from home as a bookkeeper, only recently retiring from that position. Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents J.D and Marjorie, and her loving and devoted husband Johnny. She leaves behind son Kile Watt, daughter Cassie Kiestler and beloved son-in-law John Kiestler. Granddaughter Megan Kiestler and granddogs Laci and Darby, sister Judy and brother-in-law Richard Wilbanks, Nephew Mark and wife Renee’ Wilbanks, Niece Jennifer and husband Perry Ellison as well as several great nieces and great nephews. A memorial service will be held at Weavers Funeral Home 5815 Western Ave. on Thursday March 29, 2018 from 5-7 pm.
