She was born on January 25, 1930 in Harrisburg and was the daughter of Herbert and Jennetta (Lewis) Warner. Doris graduated from William Penn High School and was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church in Harrisburg.
Doris was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and her greatest joys were spending time with her family, serving delicious food, beach vacations, and playing games, especially cards. She had a great sense of style and a wonderful sense of humor. She loved a good laugh, she loved to serve and always had a kind word to say about everyone.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. DiNatale, Jr., her grandson, Carl Hiester, and her great-granddaughter, Ella Grace Foster.
Doris is survived by her five children: Frank III (Karen) of New Castle, DE, Anthony (Antoinette) of Mechanicsburg, Dori Hiester (Ronald) of Mechanicsburg, Mary Hess (Von) of Highspire, and Rose Nicotera (Mark) of Mechanicsburg. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 4000 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. A visitation with the family will be held in the church from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery following the mass.
