Peggy Ann Catherine Gant Frazier, 79 of Corinth, Mississippi, died Wednesday, March 28, 2017, at Magnolia Regional Health Center where she lost her mortal battle to cancer but triumphed with her ascension to heaven. She was born on September 30, 1938 in Iredell County North Carolina to the late Alvie Leroy and Lillie Pearson Gant. She was a graduate of Statesville High School in North Carolina and most enjoyed sharing and supporting the accomplishments of her family. She was an avid collector and enjoyed sharing them with her children and grandchildren. She was a business owner of “The Big White House” that provided home decorations and loved decorating for the Christmas season.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Alma Summers, Nancy Gallagher, Edna Trent and brothers, Jimmy, Carl, and Franklin Gant.
She leaves a loving husband of 57 years, Leon P. Frazier who has remained by her side throughout her tremendous fight; children; Dr. Randall P Frazier and wife Tammi of Corinth, Felicia Bourbon of Wyoming, Ohio and Gregory L Frazier and wife Jaime of Goshen, New York. Her grandchildren; Parks Frazier, Erin Frazier, Baylor Frazier, Cooper Frazier, Mason Bourbon, Madison Bourbon, Myles Bourbon, Cole Frazier, Sydney Frazier, Lily Frazier; brother, Dr. Don Gant of Statesville, NC; sister-in-law, Gertine Agee of Richmond, VA and a host of other family and friends.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in honor of Peggy Frazier to the Magnolia Hospital Foundation in support of the pulmonary rehab clinic at MRHC.org or by mail at 611 Alcorn Drive Corinth, MS 38834. Her wishes were that everyone knows of the excellent, compassionate work they do to assist patients in continuing to lead a normal life with respiratory disease.
Dr. Leonard Pratt will officiate the services.
