He was born on May 28, 1944 in Kirtland, OH to James and Maime Satava.
He was a machinist and tool salesman and owned his own business for many years.
David enjoyed sports of all kinds and was a fan of any team from Cleveland, OH.
He also enjoyed traveling and went to all 50 states.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Mary Satava, one daughter, Connie (Robby) Dascotte all of Albion, IL, one son, Jason (Christy) Satava of Mt. Carmel, IL, 4 grandchildren: Shelby Dascotte, MacKenzie Dascotte, Austin Satava and Ashley Satava, 2 sisters, Maryann (Richard) Williams of Memphis, TN and Dorothy (Gene) Kent of Las Vegas, NV, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 5PM to 7PM at Ingram Funeral Home in Albion, IL.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11AM at the funeral home, followed by burial in Union Cemetery, located south of route 15 in Wayne County.
Memorials may be made to the Satava Grandchildren Education Fund, and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
