“Bro” as he was best known, gave his life to Christ at an early age in Missionary Church on the West Side of Chicago. Bro attended elementary and high school in Chicago, Illinois graduating from Austin High with honors. Upon completing his education; he had a brief marriage with his first wife Ora Hudson, they shared a child Selida Sales. Shortly after, he met his second wife Yvonne Thompson, and joined the Chrysler Corporation (where he retired). They then relocated to the Belvidere, Illinois plant, there they were married for 34 years and shared two children together: Kandy Jackson and Jamar Jackson. Bro also had a child: Markesha Fair. On April 3, 2018 at 3:45 pm, Burton was called home to be with the Lord. He leaves behind his loving wife Yvonne Thompson, who was there for him even during their separation, taking care of him until his very last moment.
HIS CHILDREN: Selida Sales (Kevin), Kandy Jackson, Jamar Jackson, Markesha Fair.
HIS GRANDCHILDREN: Kevin Jr. Sales., Jamir Jackson, Jamien Jackson, Jamiah Jackson,

Bro was forever young at heart, always laughing and teasing and loved having a good time. He would much rather give than receive, and was a wonderful example of how a man should provide for his family. He was loved by many as he loved everyone he knew. He will be missed by all.
