Bonnie was born on September 10, 1923 in Bloomington, OH to John J. and Nina (Simon) Beall. Bonnie was a career Air Force officer’s wife who traveled the world with her husband and four children. A gracious and elegant woman with a zest for life, she was a consummate hostess, excellent cook, and accomplished bridge player. She loved attending Royals games and enjoyed watching football. She supported her husband of thirty-four years while guiding her children as they moved from base to base. What captured and defined Bonnie the most was her love for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was indeed, the heart and soul of our family. Each of us returned that love completely.
Bonnie was preceded in death by: her husband, Colonel Eugene C. Parkerson; her parents, John J. and Nina (Simon) Beall; brothers, Robert and John Beall. She is survived by: her children, Gene (Elaine) Parkerson, Janice (Elwood) Curtis, Karen (Michael) O’Donnell, and Melanie (Frank) Caro. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Please share a fond memory at www.mcgilleystatelinechapel.com.
