Funeral services for Charles Albert Love, 89, of Saks were held Monday morning at First Baptist Church of Saks with Dr. Todd Stewart officiating. He was buried at Anniston Memorial Gardens. Mr. Love passed away Saturday morning at his residence with his wife by his side.
Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Faye Love; daughters, Brenda Humphries and husband Rickey and Cyndi Love; son, Chuck Love and wife Michelle; sister, Carolyn Craven and husband Tommy; brother, Jerry Love; grandchildren, Blake Humphries, Cody Ritter, Callie Ritter, Gracie Love and Mac Love; and like a son, Jeremy Sexton.
Mr. Love is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Callie Love; siblings; Billy Love, Jewell Smelley, Audrey Heflin, Betty Jo Smith and Zane Love.
Pallbearers were Cyndi Love, Lee Cain, Phil Pitts, Van Newman, Lynn Martin, and John Reynolds.
Mr. Love was a longtime resident of Anniston and was a member of First Baptist Church of Saks. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Mason for over 50 years. The family would like to extend special thanks to Randall Reeves, Minster of Music at First Baptist of Saks, for all his love and help.
