Robb was born on December 9th, 1961 to his loving parents Bertha and Kenneth Eastman. Born with a birth defect, he came into this world fighting, he was on the operating table within the first week of his life and endured many surgeries in his early years - and was "lost" but then revived during one of them. Bertha called him her blue-eyed golden haired "little angel" after that, even though he grew to be over 6' tall.
We know now that he came back to bring his special joy, humor and light into our lives. He had the most genuine, innocent and fun-loving soul, always ready with a story, kindness, or goofball antic. He always strived to make others happy and to be of service.
Robb grew up on a farm with a big family and while always helping with the chores, he spent a lot of his time playing basketball in the hayloft. He loved sports and played football, basketball, baseball and ran track at La Porte City High School where he graduated in 1981.
He met the love of his life Kris Wittry in his early twenties and they married and had two children, Tyler and Erin. The kids were his reason for living and he cherished them. From playing dinosaurs and basketball with Tyler, or Barbies and dancing with Erin, his sole purpose was to strive to make sure they were happy and healthy.
Robb's other passions were also very evident, The Dallas Cowboys, the Lottery, and the great mysteries of the universe. He shared with everyone his great interest of these topics often. Robb worked for Amish Haus Furniture and was a self-employed carpenter.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Renee. He is survived by his son Tyler, daughter Erin, ex-wife Kris, and brothers Kenneth (Linda) Eastman, Jody (Dawn) Eastman, and sisters Susie (John) Neuman and Connie Eastman, and 14 nieces & nephews, 8 great nieces and nephews and many dear friends and family.
Robb always knew there was more to life than what's in this physical realm and loved what a friend told him about people passing on to the "Invisible World" all around us - so it's easy to imagine he is still here with us, just beyond our sight, continuing to provide his love and support as we make our way in this world. He will be deeply missed.
