Our mom was born in 1927 in Chicago Illinois. She graduated from high school and went to work as a seamstress for Carson Pirie Scott making wedding dresses. She met our father while in high school and they married in 1947 after he returned from the Philippines after WWII. They recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.
Our mom spent her life doing things for others, always putting others needs before her own. Our mom never realized just how many lives she touched with her kind and generous ways, and how much she was loved and appreciated by others outside of our family. Her beautiful smile and warm hugs will be missed by many.
We know she is happy and at peace in heaven with God, her mom whom she missed very much, her father and brother, and her first family. But mom, your second family is missing you so very much! You will forever be in our hearts.
We love you!
A celebration of her life will be held in Colorado at a later date. Mom wanted her ashes scattered on the sunny side of the mountains. Please check back for dates.
Our mom supported St. Jude’s Children’s research Hospital. Any memorials can be sent there in her memory.
