Dorothy Doreen Williams, age 101 of Kingsport, entered into the glories of Heaven during the early morning hours of Thursday, April 12, 2018. Dorothy was born on July 5, 1916 in Clinchport, VA to William and Bertha Hall. In 1938 Dorothy married her best friend and love of her life, Mr. J.W. Williams, and after 69 years of a beautiful life together, he preceded her in death on August 26, 2007.
Dorothy was a woman who truly loved life. Her relationship with Jesus was first and foremost in her life. She knew that having a personal relationship with Christ would bless her in all of her other life’s journeys. Dorothy loved her family and she enjoyed gardening. She enjoyed singing praises to her Lord and Savior in the church choir, and her devotion to her family and friends was never questioned.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Sunnyside Baptist Church General Fund. The church is located at 406 Cooks Valley Rd, Kingsport, TN 37664,
