James F. Buquo, 77, passed peacefully on April 11, 2018 surrounded by his wife and children. Born in 1940 in Ellwood City, PA to Robert and Glenola Buquo he and his wife moved to Arizona in 1963.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents and brother John. Jim is survived by his wife of 55 years, Emma, 2 daughters, Marnie (Jeffrey) Brookins of Chandler, Shenta (Scott) Pietrzak of Ahwatukee and son, Robert (Tracy) Buquo of Chandler. He was also the proud grandfather to Ricky (Janea), Randy, Braedon, Cade, Max and Tola (Little Bunny).
He graduated from Lincoln High School in Ellwood City, PA in 1958 and served in the army. His biggest love was his wife, followed by his children and grandchildren. He was a wonderful family man and his greatest priority was taking care of his family. He loved yard work and his cars and would never pass up a hamburger. He was a kind and gentle man and will be truly missed by his family.
The family will be holding a private gathering and ask that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to cancer research in his honor.
