Juan "Mr. Guerrero” Guerrero, 92, ended his journey here to begin his new journey with Christ and his beloved “Morena” on Wednesday, April 11, 2018. Juan was born in Kennedy, TX, was a longtime resident of Bellaire and most recently of Jersey Village, TX. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served his country during WWII and was retired from the City of Houston after 20+ years of service.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughters Elsa (Scott) Switzer and Hilda Grieshaber, much loved grandchildren Sara and Ethan Guthrie, nephew Jorge Guerrero and sister-in-law Concepcion (Tony – Dec.) Guerrero and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Inez Guerrero and parents Pedro and Teofila Guerrero, brothers Antonio, Jose, Carmen and Senobio Guerrero and sisters, Flora Tovar, Michaela and Frances Guerrero.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 17th, from 5-8PM with a Rosary at 7PM at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 4525 Bissonnet St. Bellaire, Texas 77401. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 18th at 10:00AM Holy Ghost Catholic Church 6921 Chetwood Dr. Houston, TX 77081. The Rite of Committal will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
