Harry was born in Crowley, Louisiana, raised in Nederland, Texas, and lived in Sulphur for the last 17 years. He enjoyed life and was known for his sense of humor and quick wit. He was a born entrepreneur engaged in his limousines and construction. He was a corvette aficionado and an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and LSU Tigers.
He is survived by his children, Deborah "Lil Deb" Louvier-Pepper and husband Willie of Nederland, Texas, Alexander "Alex" Louvier of Houston, Texas; his brothers, Michael Louvier and wife Faye Lynn of Nederland, Texas, Richard Louvier of San Antonio, Texas; his sister, Pamela Eaton and husband Harris of Nederland, Texas; four grandchildren, Mark, Michael, Matthew and Madden; mother of his children, Deborah Louvier-Gontarek of Nederland, Texas; he is preceded in death by his parents, Harry Lee Louvier Sr. and Lou Ella Guidry Louvier of Crowley, Louisana. Pallbearers will be Michael Ray, Pat A. Riley, Mark Blood, Michael Louvier, Matthew Pepper and Willie Pepper.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home Chapel of Sulphur, Louisiana. Visitation will be in Hixson Sulphur Memorial Chapel on Monday evening, April 16, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 6 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday morning from 8:30 until the time of service.
