Mrs. Ivey was born in Brunswick County on December 28, 1938 and was the daughter of the late John Truman Holden and Elneta Fulford Holden. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Olin Ivey Sr., two sons, Billy Ray Ivey, Jeffrey Allen Ivey and siblings, Odessa Paden, Roy Holden, Johnny Holden, Ella Ray Robinson, Eula Sellers, Roxie Broxton, Louise Danford, Carol Ann Holden. She was a member of Union Chapel Independent Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by four children, Olin Ivey Jr. (Regina), Robert Ivey (Leisha), Gerald Ivey (Connie), Candy Caison (Joey); grandchildren, Chris Ivey (Katie), Jarad Ivey (Lindi), Chad Ivey (Christian), Will Ivey (Alisha), Diana Fulford (Bryan), Angela Tharp (Daniel), Gerik Ivey (Rachel), ; great grandchildren, Candice, Jonathan, Emma, Haylie, Emma Ryan, Sarah, Alexis, Avery, Mia, Brayden, Laney, Novie; a brother, Kellen Holden (Delores); three special sister in-laws, Selema Simmons, Lillie May Holden, Eula Mae Ivey and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Friday April 27th, 2018 at three o’clock in the afternoon at Union Chapel Independent Pentecostal Church, 2039 Boones Neck Road, Supply with Reverend Regan Mintz, Reverend Mike Jacobs and Dr. Freddie Powell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be, Chris Ivey, Jarad Ivey, Will Ivey, Chad Ivey, Gerik Ivey, Jonathan Ivey, Ronnie Fulford. Honorary pallbearer will be Brayden Fulford.
Friends are invited to a time of visitation with the family on Thursday evening April 26th from six o’clock until eight o’clock at White Funeral Service, 603 Ocean Highway, Bolivia.
