Del graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1972 with a Bachelor’s degree in education. He was an avid collector of posters, an avid animal lover, a nature lover, and a “Yellow-Dog” Democrat. He retired from Indian Path Medical Center after 25 years of dedicated service as a Pharmacy Technician. He recently declared his faith, and gave his life to his Lord and Savior before his passing. Del was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend; he will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 33 years, Connie Livingston; daughter, Kristen Livingston; grandson, Jamison LeBlanc; brother, Richard Livingston & wife Judith; sister, Ann Raines; brother & sister-in-law, Mike Cox & wife Debbie; sister-in-law, Dixie Hensley (Cecil); special “lil” sister, Gayle Krell; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Per Del’s request there will not be a formal visitation. Family & friends are invited to the home of Debbie & Mike Cox anytime and can be reached at 423-292-0816 for directions. Del will be laid to rest on Friday (May 4, 2018) at 1 p.m. in the Christus Garden at East Lawn Memorial Park. Casual attire (shorts) are requested per Del and his family.
