Joan Louise (Eddinger) Bohn, 75, of Wyomissing, retired secretary of the Reading School District, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018 in Manor Care Sinking Spring. She was the loving wife of the late Willard "Bill" Bohn.
Born in Temple on November 25, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Eddinger and Pauline C. Brown. Joan was an Oley High School graduate, Class of 1960.
She enjoyed reading suspense novels and doing crossword puzzles. She was a member of the Nifty Fifty club and was very social and close with her friends. Joan took pleasure in traveling, especially to the shore.
Surviving are three sons: Robert A. Gallo, Jr. and his wife, Tammy Rubright-Gallo of Wyomissing, Michael A. Harnar and his wife, Marlo Cookston of Kalamazoo, MI and Christopher A. Harnar and his wife, Theresa of Germansville, PA; a stepdaughter: Kathy J. (Bohn) Lenich and her husband, John of Reading; seven grandchildren and a sister: Carolyn Shrom and her husband, Kenneth of Sun City Center, FL.
A Memorial Service will be Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 10am graveside in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Family and friends will gather on Tuesday in Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reading, PA 19606 from 8:30am until 9:45am. The procession to the cemetery will form at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
