Born in Reading on October 18, 1970, he was a son of Allan James, Sr. and Carol (Knarr) Hughes of Birdsboro. Moe was a Twin Valley graduate, Class of 1989 and attended Penn State, Williamsport.
He was employed with D&D Collision Service as a fabricator for a year. Prior, he was employed with Morgan Body building tool bodies for two and half years. He also delivered steel for Kuhn Steel for eight years.
Moe loved music. He enjoyed going to concerts and especially liked listening to the Grateful Dead. He enjoyed watching football and watching indoor motorcycle racing. He also liked to hunt, fish and trap. But most of all, he loved his family and his friends.
In addition to his parents, Allan, Sr. and Carol and his companion, Nicole, Moe is survived by a son, Cody Allan Hughes of Washington, D.C.; two daughters, Miranda Jane (Hughes) Mazza and her husband, Antonio of TX and Abbie Marie Hughes of TX; his grandmother, Geraldine (Heffner) Hughes of Temple; his sister, Billy Letitia (Hughes) Weston and her husband, George, III of Birdsboro and two nieces, Dara and Carly Weston of Birdsboro.
Allan is predeceased by his grandfathers, James Hughes, Jr. and Clifford Carl Knarr, Sr. and his grandmother, Selma Louise (Harrell) Knarr.
Services for Allan are private and at the convenience of the family.
