September 5, 1923 Kansas City, Missouri - May 6, 2018 Leawood, Kansas
George D. Heath left this life on May 6, 2018, surrounded by family, to join his wife Dottie of 57 years in a better place.
Born September 5, 1923, George was a lifetime resident of Kansas City. He loved his family, his work, his yard and mother nature. George was an Eagle Scout, a member of Demo-lay, a World War II Vet serving in the Navy on Midway Island and two-time cancer survivor.
George retired at an early age as owner of Heath Sales and Service; which allowed Dottie and him to travel the world and share many years of adventures.
George was a thinker and a doer, tackling whatever life presented him with integrity, honesty, faith and the most positive attitude imaginable.
He always gave it forward.
Though Dad is so loved and will be missed everyday, the last few months had challenges and we know that he is free of those and with Mom again.
George had a life well lived.
George leaves to carry on brother Don L. Heath, daughters Dawn Hauser (Husband Dale) and Cathy Heath-Williams, Grandchildren Brian Hauser, Michael Hauser, Sydney Heath-Williams and Daniel Williams, Great-Granddaughter Maddi Hauser and two Great-Great Grandchildren Zaiden and Mila.
Family burial of ashes at John Knox Kirk Memorial Walk on September 5th, 2018.
Memorial donations can be made to John Knox Kirk or Wounded Warriors Family Support.
