Sheryll’s life journey began on February 7, 1950. She was born in Miami, Florida. She met the love of her life, Dan Jefferson and was united in marriage in 1966. She was very much loved and cherished by her husband and best friend. She was his queen and he made sure that she knew how much she was loved. Together they enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. They resided in Orange County, California for many years before relocating to DeSoto, Texas in 2003.
Sheryll loved to travel! She also loved stepping out in style. She was a true fashionista and loved to shop. She looked forward to attending the Memorial and the District Assembly and when she did, she was always on point. She had a signature style and was flawlessly fabulous from head to toe.
Sheryll touched many lives. She and Dan enjoyed telling others about God’s Kingdom. You could see them going door to door witnessing about the promises that Jehovah has for mankind. She will be missed.
Loved ones that cleared the path for Sheryll were her son Gary Jefferson and daughter Ericka Jefferson. Loved ones that will miss and cherish her memories are husband, Dan Jefferson and daughter Danika Jefferson Leeks.
“Me Me”, as she was affectionately called by her family, will be remembered by grandsons Jason Jefferson, Damien Jefferson and Anthony Leeks; Great Granddaughters Leyah Jefferson, Cambree Jefferson, Kynlee Jefferson and Kyree Jefferson; Great Grandsons Jalil Spencer, Jalen Jefferson and Gary Jefferson, Jr. She will also be remembered by a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Sheryll’s life will be held Saturday, May 12th, 2018 at 1:00PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 1636 S. Uhl Road; Glenn Heights, TX 75154.
A reception for close friends and family will be held immediately following at the Leek’s home, 4403 Westchester Glen Drive, Grand Prairie, TX 75052.
