LEXINGTON – Joseph “Joe” Branham was born to Jesse and Mildred Donahue Branham on December 18, 1948 in Winnsboro, SC. He passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday May 3, 2018, at the age of 69.
He is predeceased by the love of his life, Naomi, his parents, 7 brothers, 2 sisters and his loving daughter, Charity. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Ronnie, Wayne (Toni), Deborah, Bill (Gina); son-in-law, Will Branham; two brothers, Bobby Branham (Sandra), Bennie Branham; numerous nieces and nephews and his 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren that referred to him as “Poppa Joe” and he loved them all, unconditionally and with all his heart.
He will be fondly remembered by his BFF, Mike Hutto and a host of many special friends and family. Joe’s special companion his dog “Boo” was very special to him.
He was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church. Joe was a special person who never met a stranger; he was a great friend.
A memorial service in memory of Joe will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Red Bank Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at his granddaughter’s house at 108 Pleasure Island Rd. Gilbert South Carolina 29054. Memorials may be made to your local animal / adoption agency.
