He was a truck driver for Baxter International in Edison for 35 years, retiring in 2002. He was a member of the Knollcroft Social & Athletic Club in Cliffwood Beach and an avid NASCAR racing fan. He adored his grandkids sports, be it baseball or soccer and enjoyed his time with his family whom he loved very much. Bob loved to travel. He was a congregant of St. Stephen Episcopal Church in Whiting where he was very active. Born in Perth Amboy, he resided in Fords, and Cliffwood Beach, before moving to Whiting in 1996.
He is predeceased by a sister the late Eleanore Burzinski. He is survived his loving wife Margery of 57 years, and two children, a son Robert & his wife Sandra; and his daughter Wendy & her husband Kenneth Burgio. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Christopher who is currently serving in the US Navy, Rachel, Troy, Darren, and Ryan. Bob also leaves his siblings, a step brother & sister, Bob Markevka & Barbara Marhevka.
