Danny A. Deavers

Danny A. Deavers, 68, a lifelong Autauga County resident, passed away Tuesday May 8, 2018. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday May 14th at 2:00 PM at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel with Pastor Phil Winningham officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Danny was born on January 11, 1950 to the late Joseph Arthur Deavers and Essie Cook Deavers. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He was also a highly skilled automotive mechanic who would help anyone in need. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and Alabama Football. Danny loved his family and grandchildren. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Deavers and a sister June Ferguson. He is survived by his loving wife, Melinda; five children, Chris Deavers, Brent Deavers and his wife Barbara, Hillarie Deavers, Jaime Headley, Tony Deavers and his fiancé’ Paige Tillery; a brother and sister in law, Larry and Venora Deavers; nine grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and close friends.
