She is the loving mother of three beautiful children: Israel, Bella and Imma Lockridge. Imma also transitioned to be in the presence of the Lord as a result of the same tragic car accident.
Sara is vibrant, vivacious and larger than life. She is easy to love and hard to forget. When she walked into a room she commanded the attention of everyone in it and in the words of her brother, R.J., " She marched to the beat of her own bangles!". Today she dances in a Heavenly place hand in hand with her precious Imma awaiting all of us.
Sara is preceeded in death by her mother Theresa M. Stribling; grandparents Henry G. and Mary L. Stribling and Edward DeVilbiss and Mary DeVilbiss.
She is survived by her son Israel Lockridge and her daughter Isabella Lockridge; father Ron Stribling and his wife Pam; brother R.J. Stribling and sister Mary (Hope) Dycus and her husband Jake; "Daddy Bill" and "Mama Annie" McClain; aunts Cherie Maris and Betsy DeVilbiss; cousins Elizabeth and Mary Catherine Maris along with many other family and loving friends.
A celebration of Sara’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 15th at the Abundant Life Church, 751 Dean Patrick Road, Locust Grove, GA. Interment will be immediately following at Oak Hill Cemetery in Griffin. The family will receive friends Monday, May 14th from 5:00-8:00 pm at Haisten Funeral Home, 1745 Zack Hinton Pkwy, McDonough.
