He married Jeanette Hollenbeck June 5, 1955. He was preceded in death by his parents and (siblings) He is survived by his "Sweetie"
Jeanette, his sister June Sanders, 2 daughters and 2 sons. Sandi and her husband Larry Trullinger, John Cotner, Lesa and her husband Dave McDowell and Truman "Bud" Cotner, Jr. 6 grandchildren, Dawn "Dawn Dawn" Leach and partner Daniel, Jeremy and Lauren Cotner, Angela Radermacher (Justin) , Felicia "Fel" McDowell and Clay , Quentin and Dakota Cotner, Monica McDowell ( Erik) 5 great grandsons, Max, Truman "Lil Truman", Wyatt "Wy Wy", Elliot and Colton. one step grandson Ryan, two step great grandsons Silas & Leonard. And many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Truman was incredibly proud of his service in the military, during the Korean War, his 30 years of service as a United States Postal worker, and his many years as a Cub Master with the Boy Scouts of America.
"Pop Pop" never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face. He was always willing to help anyone with anything. He loved spending time in his garden, taking walks, fishing and making wonderful gifts in "Papa's Workshop" and reading his bible.
Although he left us way too soon, we know he was needed to help in a much bigger garden. He was loved tremendously and will be missed deeply.
He was a member of the Foursquare Church in Raytown, for many yrs.` In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to St Judes Children's Research or CurePSP.org
