Vincent Ryan Brosius, 23, Kansas City, Kansas passed away May 13, 2018. A gathering for family and friends will be from 4-5 PM with a memorial service following at 5 PM, Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kansas. Vincent was born on September 28, 1994 in Kansas City, Kansas to Devin Shockey and Rachel Kline. He was a 2013 graduate of Lansing High School. During school he ran track and cross country. He also played football, baseball and soccer. Vincent also received a certificate in HVAC from the KCKCC Tech Center. He was currently working at Kansas City Kansas Community College in the maintenance department.
Vincent was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Royals, Chiefs and Jayhawks. He always had a smile and loved making others laugh. Vincent was known as being the glue to his family and friends.
Vincent was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Sidney G. Kline, Sr. and Jolyne K. Brosius, Sr.
Survivors include his parents, Rachel and Darryl Kline of Lansing, Kansas and Devin Shockey and Libby Manis of Kansas City, Missouri; siblings, Stephanie and Nicholas Kline, Brett Manis, and Melanie Shockey; fiancé, G. Lizbeth Lopez Mendoza; grandparents, Debra Brosius, Barbara Kline and Curt and Paula Kempf; and numerous other loved family members.
