Born June 2, 1936 in Allegheny County he was a son of the late Joseph and Myra (Miller) Latourette.
Ken served his Country as a Sargent in the US Army during the Vietnam War and continued on as an Independent contractor driving tractor trailers. He also was internationally known as a transporter for a Appalachian Trail hikers in Delaware Water Gap, PA; known to many as “Kenny Ole’ Dawg.” He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of the Mountain.
Those left to cherish his memory include daughters: Missy, Annette, and Linda Latourette: brothers: Chuck, Roy and Bob Latourette: sister: Dorothy.
He was predeceased by sisters: Edith and Josephine: brothers: John, Frank, Eugene and Morris.
A public visitation will be held on Thursday May 24, 2018 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12pm officiated by Pastor Jerry Scott of the Faith Discovery Church and Rev. Shirley Blackman, pastor of Presbyterian Church on the Mountain at the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home Inc. 27 Washington St. East Stroudsburg PA 18301. Interment will follow at the Prospect Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Church of the Mountain Church Lane Delaware Water Gap, PA 18327.
