Herman “H.C.” Judd, 81, of Amarillo passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018.
Memorial Services will be held Friday, June 08, 2018 at 2 p.m. in the Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories.
H.C. was born on March 02, 1937 in Wellington, Texas to Preston and Tommie Judd. The family relocated to Amarillo when he was a child where he would grow up. He was a truck driver who enjoyed hunting and rodeo. He was the proud owner of his own excavating company for more than 35 years. He was well known for his work around town, mostly for his assistance in placing the old Cadillacs in the ground at the famous Cadillac Ranch west of Amarillo.
H.C. was preceded in death by his parents Preston and Tommie, as well as a sister JoAnn. Those left to cherish his memory are his sons James and his three children Dallas of Amarillo, Jamie of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Austin of Casper Wyoming; Son Darryl and wife Shirly and their two children Kari Underwood and Joshua Judd of Muskogee, Oklahoma; and Son Max and life partner Donn Gauger of Austin, Texas; and 7 great-grandchildren.
